Malvani Rice Vade is a fried flatbread made of rice flour also known as rice poori
In a mixing bowl add rice flour, whole wheat flour, turmeric and salt. Mix them all well.
Next, add water gradually and mix and knead it into a soft dough. Set this dough aside to rest for half an hour.
Divide the dough into 1 3/4 ” ball.
Place a ball of dough over a piece of plastic wrap or wet cloth. With wet fingers press down the dough outwards forming a circle until it is about 3″ to 4″ inches in diameter.
In a kadhai or frying pan heat oil.
Carefully and gently removed the pressed rice vade and place it in the hot oil.
Fry it for a couple of seconds on both sides until done.
Remove it from oil and drain it on paper towels.
Place it in a covered bread basket or container until it is ready to be served.
Serve it warm with either Chicken Curry or Mutton Curry.
