Dark Spot Corrector

Dark Spot Corrector Review

March 4, 2015 by Babita

Last Updated on May 25, 2016 by Babita

Anytime I come across a product that promises to heal and freshen up my face, I tend to get very excited (I know I am not alone). After all I am not a spring chicken anymore. My face is littered with all kinds of damage. I have sunspots, large pores, little acne marks and pigmentation issues (due to my hormonal imbalance). So when I got the Dark Spot Corrector from Key West Health & Beauty for review purpose, I had to try it on immediately.

The other thing that attracted me to Dark Spot Corrector is that it is safe and natural. It boasts of 98% natural and 72% ingredients, which are safe to use. Similar products contain hydroquinone, which has been proven to be toxic and carcinogenic. I also like the fact that this product is certified as “Made with Organic Ingredients”. This itself is a huge selling point for me.

Before I write my review, do read about some of the benefits of the ingredients mentioned

  • Glycolic acid: exfoliates and eliminates dead surface skin cells.
  • Kojic acid: helps fade age spots, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage and more.
  • Salicylic acid: unclogs pores and loosens thick dry skin.
  • Hyaluronic acid provides intense hydration resulting in smooth and youthful look.

Dark Spot Corrector

Review:

It has been three weeks since I have started using the Dark Spot Corrector. As per instructions I applied it on my face after cleaning it and before applying moisturizer. Although I have most of the damages around my cheeks and cheekbones, I have been applying it on my whole face. The product is clear and transparent. On application it is light and absorbs immediately. The size is 1.7 oz which I am assuming will last quiet some time.

My skin has lightened up considerably. I can see a little difference although it is not a huge one (but it has only been 3 weeks). The sunspots are still there, but I don’t think any kind of corrector will help those. My pores are definitely smaller and because of this it shows off a smoother appearance. My skin is not as dry as before. I also like that it has a nice fresh fragrance and is not overpowering. It also feels very hydrating on the face.

Overall, I like this product and I have seen a noticeable difference. I will continue to use for more time and see how it goes. Since I would like to buy this product again some time in the future, I wish it were a bit more affordable. Right now it retails for around $38, and also comes with 100% money back satisfaction guarantee.

This is a good review. Thank you. I don’t have dark spots b I have a friend who does and I am going to share this with her.

I so need some of this for my dark spots. I am going to have to look for it and try it out myself.

I like that it makes pores smaller too. Thank you for the product introduction. This is my first time hearing about Key West.

I find myself concerned more and more about my appearance and my health. I let it slide for the longest time and now that I am going to be 40 this year, I am grasping at straws to make changes.

I stay out of the sun, so thankfully, my skin is still in pretty good shape. However, if this shrinks pores, I would definitely give it a try!

I am thinking that I would love to try this. I also have a few problem areas on my face that I think this would work on.

Too bad it is not a little cheaper. I would love to try it out. I have some problem areas on my cheeks.

I lay out in the sun all summer long, so I would love to try this on the dark spots I have on my cheeks. I want to nip those in the bud.

Age spots–will I ever find a way to at least lighten them on my face (I can live with the rest of them on other parts of my body)–“What a drag it is getting old”–remember that song? This is kind of expensive – let me see if I can manage to save up so I can try it.
