Red Animated Bag

Jump From Paper Animated Handbags

May 7, 2014 by Babita

Last Updated on February 19, 2016 by Babita

I bet, a lot of you must have looked twice at the pictures below and thought those animated handbags are not real. However, I will assure you the bags are real and only made to appear animated. It is not a trick to fool your eyes. It is not something that has been photo shopped (that is what I originally thought). It is actually designed by designer duo Rika Lin and Chay Su,

Taipei designers Rika and Chay designed this unique and fun bag as a way to see if they could create something real and still give it a 2D illustrated look. In their statement the girls expressed “We love to confuse people, but more so, we love to see them burst out into laughter once they realize these are real bags”.

I have to agree with them. While it may be a bit eccentric for some, I admire the fact that they are so distinctive. I love these animated handbags and would not mind owning one of these (Hint: Mother’s Day gift). The fact that they are so different, quirky, fun and colorful makes me want them more. I don’t know if I would use them for work, but would definitely use them during get-together with my BFFs. I am pretty sure they would be a great conversation starter. See this is why I love fashion. For all those who say fashion is art, these handbags definitely prove that.

These bags are sold under the brand ‘Jump from Paper’. They are available in over 25 countries. I wish they were available here. If not for myself, I would definitely have bought one for ‘TEE’.

I love them all. They are so unique. I agree, what a great Mother’s Day gift. The red one really catches my eye. My mother use to have a purse just like that way back when.

I love it, I personally do not carry a purse (mine became a toy box!) but those might make me change my mind. I love unique items and these are perfect.
