Just Walk: Mix and Match Walk Blasters by Leslie Sansone

It has been at least 3 years since I have exercised. If you read my blog post Why I don’t want to lose weight, then you will know why. I have gone walking occasionally but never really exercised. At the end of my blog post I also mentioned my reason for wanting to be healthy.

For those reasons, I decided to try out Leslie Sansone: Mix & Match Walk Blasters, which I received for review purpose. I wanted to start slow. After all it had been a while and I did not want to injure myself by starting an aggressive exercise regime. I am so glad I started with this video.

 

Just Walk With Leslie Sansone

The Just Walk Mix and Match Walk Blasters offer 10 quick, walking based workout. It starts off with a Light Walk, which Leslie says you can use as your warm up and continue forward with Brisk & Steady, Interval Walk, Short & Sweaty, Walk Kick & Jab, Dance Walk, Tummy Trimmer, Lower Body Blast, Upper Body Blast and Flexibility Walk. Each segment is 10 minutes long and with a few clicks from the menu, we can customize our work out.

Review:

I will start off by saying that I totally underestimated this workout. I assumed it is all about walking and thought how difficult can it be. I was wrong. As I had not been exercising for a long time, the first segment of Light Walk which is more of a warm up was enough to pump up my heart rate. I felt the burn in my hip, thighs, calves and ankles. Believe it or not, I had to stop after 10 minutes of this segment.

Over the course of few days I started working out more and I found it a easier and comfortable as I progressed. This Just Walk workout is perfect for people who are starting out or who are not able to exercise very aggressively. You will have movement and that is what I like about this workout. For those who want to be challenged, there are other segments like Dance Walk and Tummy Trimmer which will pump up the heart rate and make you sweat.

I also liked the fact that Leslie incorporated her Top 10 Healthy Life Tips. She also made the workout fun. Transitioning to the next step was always easy because she would inform you in advance. If you are someone who is looking for something simple and easy to do then you should start off with this workout. The Leslie Sansone: Mix & Match Walk Blasters  is available on Amazon for $14.99.

    Finding a workout you enjoy is so key to success. I’ve quit several times in the past because I was miserable with my program.

    I have used her DVDs in the past and have always felt they were really helpful and that I benefited from them. I love that she has such a variety of DVDs to keep things interesting.

    Wow, just in time for me! I haven’t been able to exercise d/t a condition, but this looks like something I can do little by little. I just bought a nordictrack to start walking since I don’t dare go out alone. Thank you so much I am going to check this out.

    This sounds like something I could do and enjoy! I love work outs I can do at home and go at my own pace. Being able to go back is helpful too as I can start off slow
