Justice YOYO Lip Gloss

Justice YOYO Initial Retractable Lip Gloss Review and Giveaway

July 5, 2013 by Babita

Last Updated on January 31, 2014 by Babita

As a mom of two girls I am always fighting to keep my makeup safe from my girls. It feels like I have absolutely no control over them. My little one who does not believe in the word ‘no’ is always using them to play makeup. Either she will apply it on herself or her dolls. As much as it irritates me, I admit I sometimes find it cute. As for “Tee”, she is always begging me to buy her own collection of makeup (can you believe it and she is only 11). As much I would like her to stay my baby for a long time, I recognize, I will have to give in sometime or the other.

So when Justice offered to send me samples of their new Justice YOYO Initial Retractable Lip Gloss for review and contest I jumped at the chance. These Justice YOYO glosses are unique and feature their own clip-on. The clip itself is decorated beautifully with sparkling glitter initials and surrounded with crystals that will wow any tween. Even though these are available in 17 initials, you also have a choice of opting for a clip with a peace sign design.

I received two samples. One lip-gloss had the initial ‘T” (for “Tee”) and the other one with the initial “B” (my little one obviously felt left out, so I gave her this one). Both of them were grape flavored, but the lip gloss is also available in three different colors and flavors including cotton candy (turquoise), bubblegum (pink) and grape (purple). These lip glosses can be clipped on to your belt, a pocket or a school bag. So I personally don’t have to worry about it getting lost. It’s retractable feature also allows it to be accessible without actually taking it off.

“Tee” could not wait to try hers on, and her verdict was that it is smooth and had a pleasant grape flavor with some sweetness which is not too overpowering. She loved the fact that it smelled good (her words, not mine). Her only complain is that the lip-gloss is a mini and she would have liked it to be full-sized. I personally felt the gloss had a dense texture, but I think that is the reason it is long-lasting.

The Justice YOYO Initial Retractable Lip Gloss is available in all of their stores as well as online at www.shopjustice.com.   You can however score your own lip gloss with your initial for free by entering the contest below. This contest is open to residents of US and Canada only. Complete the form below to enter the contest.

What a great idea an not just for the little ones. There are many items that I use that should probably be on a retractable clip.

May I suggest a major lock where ever you keep your make up? Thankfully they do make makeup for tweens these days!!
