OOFOS Footwear Womens Sandal

Review: #feeltheOO with OOFOS Footwear

July 1, 2014 by Babita

Last Updated on July 1, 2014 by Babita

The great thing about having daughters is that occasionally I get treated to an impromptu pedicure. Both TEE and S love to paint my nails. However, this time ‘S’ wanted to pretend she was working in a nail salon. So she applied some cream and lightly massaged my feet. After arguing and fighting for sometime, it was decided that TEE would apply the nail polish.

OOFOS Footwear Manicure

All I had to do was relax and trust me I had no problem with that. After I had my mini-pedicure, I decided to try out my new pair of OOFOS Footwear. I had recently received a pair of thong sandals for review purpose and I could not wait to try it.

Before I write about how I feel about it, let me tell you a little bit about the OOFOS brand. This unisex footwear has been engineered with proprietary OOfoam technology, which means that it is the only material of its kind in the world. It has 37% more impact absorption. With each step of the OOfoam, the footwear is able to disperse the body’s impact to the side of the shoe, rather than coming up through the body. It offers long lasting comfort and cushioning. It is very durable and best of all you can machine wash it.

My review:

My review: I received the black thong sandals in size 8. Appearance wise, I was not very thrilled with the black OOFOS sandals. I remember selecting either plum or aqua color sandals. I received the black one and that kind of put me off. My disappointment however did not last very long. After I slipped my well-pedicured feet into those sandals, I was thoroughly surprised.

I could not believe at how comfortable these sandals felt. It felt like there were cushions under my feet. It felt like I was walking on air. Even though the sandals felt soft, it was firm under pressure. I have a high arch and these sandals fit snugly under the arch.Ā Ā  The simplistic form of the sandals betray their functionality.Ā  They may not be the trendiest footwear, but I can tell you they are the most comfortable ones. My advice to anyone reading this post is head on over to their website (here) and grab a pair of these sandals right away. I personally plan on using them around the house, as I am on my feet a lot.

The OOFOS footwear is available in three different styles: thong sandals, slides and clogs. They are unisex and are available in 10 different colors. They retail for $39.95 to $49.95. Even though they are unisex, the sizes run different for men and women. So keep that in mind while ordering. One more thing, if you are planning to order online, make sure you use the code “CREWnorth” for free shipping.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

When you pair them with pretty toes, they’re actually not bad at all. And comfort really is the winner here anyhow.

I bought some on sale, and I thought that they looked so silly at fist, but they felt like I was walking on air. But now, these are literally all that I wear, unless I’m going to the gym or to church. The ones I have a red too! Im currently shopping for a black pair that will blend in more with every outfit. Even my 13 yo daughter grabs MY shoes because they are the most comfortable pair in the house šŸ˜‚

Those are the type of shoes I need for easy on and off since we live in the country and HAVE to have on shoes when we go outside. They look comfy! SN.. I went into a panic mode when I did not see a towel under the nail polish.. we’ve had so many girly nail polish spills in our house..

Aimee LOL, I used to be like you when my girls were younger and wanted to paint my nails. Now they have enough control and can decently avoid spills. As for the sandals, they are very comfy.

I know many runners who love these shoes. They bring them to races so they can change after a long run.
