Pinterest Inspiration for Clutter Free Dresser

March 19, 2013 by Babita

Last Updated on March 19, 2013 by Babita

My dresser is totally cluttered. The fact that I have girls makes my dresser that much more vulnerable. ‘S’ my little one uses all my nail polish as her toy characters and when she is done playing with them she tosses it over the dresser in a pile. ‘T’ my eleven year old has started borrowing my jewelry and without any regard tosses them into another pile on the dresser. So I hopped on over to Pinterest for some necessary inspiration. Just looking at some of the pins brought   a much needed calmness. Check out some of the clever pinterest inspiration from some very creative pinners. Let me know what you think of these and if you need them for your dresser too.

1. This first one is a hairband holder made from empty Oatmeal container. I think this one takes the cake. Wrap up the container with some fabric, gift wrap or duck tape and you have a creative solution to hold all the hairbands.

2. Instead of all the hair ties scattered around in your dresser drawer, all of them can now be in one place.

3. Use your old wooden hangers to hang earrings and show them off at the same time.

4. If you have inherited some antique cups and saucers from your old aunt or grandma, you can put them to good use by lining the drawers and storing your precious jewels.

5. This one is my favorite. As all of you know by now, my girls never put their hair clips in place. I am sure If I was to stick a strip of magnetic in the drawer or on the dresser itself, they will be more than happy to put back their stuff.

6. If you are a regular at my site you will know this is one of my creation. Got a couple of mini vases. Glued them together and I had a functional bangle holder. Click on the image below for tutorial.

6. This grater earring holder was one of my first creations inspired from Piniterest. Click on the image below for a tutorial.
