Passport to Imagination Program

Michaels Passport to Imagination Museum Road Trip

July 1, 2014 by Babita

Last Updated on July 1, 2014 by Babita

If you are like me, and looking for fun activities for your kids this summer I suggest you check out Michaels stores’ Passport to Imagination Museum Road Trip program.

Passport to Imagination Program

Passport to Imagination is an annual in-store summer crafting project created by Michaels stores nationwide. They have partnered with seven of North America’s best museums to create a road trip. This program is for kids ages 5 and up, and will run from June 16th to Aug 1st. It is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00 a.m to 12.00 noon.

Each week the kids will have an opportunity to create crafts inspired by one of these seven museum exhibits. Even though the classes are held in-store you can register online at Michaels.com. The cost of each session is $2 per child, which I have to say is very inexpensive. And to top it off, the first 50 participants who attend this program at each Michaels location will receive a free portfolio to store and display their amazing work.

Passport Portfolio

I personally can’t wait to check it out. Even TEE and S are excited and looking forward to it. Two hours of fun crafting activities for only $2 – what more could a parent ask for?

Spread the love

My son is probably still a little too young for this, but what a fun outing it would be!

I’m going to go to Michael’s today and see what they’ve got going on for the kids. I didn’t know they did anything at all until yesterday. Cool!

This must be what they were talking about the other day when I was in there. The girl handed me a flyer saying it would have more info but it was the wrong flyer.

Sounds like some great ideas at an extremely reasonable price for the session. My kids really enjoy doing crafts. My mom and I enjoy going to Micheals. I think we go down just about every aisle they have.

WOW That is awesome. I wish we had a closer Michaels. I love how they also do the weekend crafts for kids and they even have birthday parties there. $2 is an overly amazing deal!

I was actually thinking about signing my boys up for one (or a couple) of those classes at Michael’s. They love things like that 🙂
