Rabia Z Designs Trendy Clothes for Muslim Women

November 18, 2011 by Babita

Last Updated on November 18, 2011 by Babita

Can you be modest and fashionable at the same time? If you are Rabia Z then the answer is yes. An emerging designer, Rabia is proving to the world modesty is fashionable one runaway show at a time. She designs for Muslim women who want to look trendy and modern without baring their skin. At last night’s fashion show in New York, Rabia who is Afghan and Arab showcased her “conservative couture”. Her models wore flowing clothes draped skillfully, skinny long pants, stilettos and most importantly sported the hijab.

Although I am in no way conservative, I loved the way she draped the hijab around the head. It was both creative and chic. Check out the pictures from her fashion show
