The Wooden Cart: a Do-it-Yourself Project.

February 6, 2012 by Babita

Last Updated on February 9, 2012 by Babita

Recently I and my husband have been spending our time de-cluttering our garage. While our  basement was being finished we had to move all stuff from the basement to the garage. Now since all the work is finished, our basement has gone from being a storage space to a usable space for all of us. So its a no brainer that we have to get rid of many things in our garage, as we no longer have a need for them. Many of the things have already made their way to the trash, however, some of the  items which are in good condition have been set aside for donation to Goodwill.

There is this one piece of furniture (pictured below), which as you can see is still in very good condition. My husband wants to donate  this old laminated wooden cart. I personally want to give it a new life under the DIY Project guise, hence the conundrum ( a word I have started using since watching “Downton Abbey”…yay).  After some convincing my husband relented, and agreed to allow me to work on it, as long as I can transform it into a something more functional.

So as I am currently battling flu-like symptoms, wish me luck guys! I hope to start working on it during the weekend.

Spread the love
